Specifically designed to tolerate moist and humid conditions, our moisture resistant plasterboards can be used in areas where levels of humidity are higher, like the kitchen or bathroom. In the core of moisture-resistant plasterboard are some additives which deter moisture, making them ideal for kitchens and bathrooms due to high levels of humidity in these areas. Using non-moisture-resistant plasterboard in a moist area will lead to damp, rot, and mould over time.
